Steve and Hilary are saying the internet is making us stupid, or at least unable to focus. The Atlantic says so too. It's the Sesame Street of media.

It's probably true.

But big deal. It's not like I was finding the cure for cancer or anything.

You could go read the article at the Atlantic, but apparently you don't have the attention span anymore.

When I saw it, I thought, "Gotta read the WHOLE thing".

It took two hours because I was also watching an SG1 episode and getting a lot of facebook beeps right about then...

But I read EVERY word.

although I see your point. The complaint that the internet is making us unable to do anything useful, starts with the assumption that we would have been doing something useful had the internet not been so full of interesting Sci-Fi Television programmes, games, short articles, and pictures of naked people.

I'll tell you what I would be doing with all these hours if the net had never come to us. Exactly what I WAS doing before it came.

I can't believe anyone with a ten cent head would criticize the most awe inspiring instrument of collective wisdom attention. Oh Shit!! What did I do with the cure for cancer I was just going to post? Dam(note spelling)you Steve and whomever the othr one was!!
